I gave up on DD 10 a long time ago and found the competition has stable, more often updated products that kept my partitions and boot problems from happening. I do not mean to be rude but it is the truth. And maybe the people at Acronis want to hear what a loyal customer has to say. I use many of your other Small Biz and Enterprise level products and like them.even though Workstation Advanced was a real mess initially.lol I still love you. Lol Acronis has not updated this since 2007 and now finally decided to get around to updating it again. E000101F4 Disk Director Suite has not found any harddisk drives - SOLVED. The CD I use contains Acronis Disk Director Suite 10. Acronis Disk Director 12 Serial Key + License Keygen Free incl Download Acronis Disk Director Suite 12 for Windows. Acronis disk director 12 portable. ![]() In the mean time, people were buying it and using it. Now, it helped me make money by having to repair and clean up the messes. Still, I will not go back to this, at least not until I see a new version and see that it is fully Windows 7 compliant and is cared for, loved and regularly kept up to date by the developers. When I purchased DD10 the full version boot cd worked as described. But when I used the same cd some weeks ago again it refused to work and said 'no disk'. Booting the safe version cd DD10 found the disks but was unusable because I'm using a USB-based keyboard and mouse and USB is disabled in safe mode. Today I had a thought: In the beginnig the SATA drives were defined as ATA devices in the BIOS. Some time ago I changed the setting to AHCI. Maybe this is the reason the full version cd of DD version 2161/german does not work any more. In reply #1 MudCrab wrote about an iso with updated drivers. So I ask Acronis to have access to that updated iso. Thank you Wolf. When I purchased DD10 the boot cd worked as described. Why the (Acronis) can not give a version or update who works properly and recognise the harddisk (sata) when started with the boot cd. This problem already exist long time ago. Error E000101F4 same problem with acronis true image 11 home. Error E000101F4 Is it soooo difficult for developers to fix this? I mean, nothing complicated or difficult but just a program(update) that work like it promise now, i can not use where i pay for. Can somebody help me with this problem please? Francois: The reason that this is difficult is that Acronis has decided to use Linux as the underlying operating system in the boot environment. ![]() Support of new hardware on Linux generally lags behind support for Windows. They're at the mercy of the open-source community who write these drivers. Several of us have been asking for Acronis to switch to a Windows PE-based recovery environment where the driver support would be much better, but there are probably licensing cost issues. Meanwhile, have you tried the updated DD 10 ISO as suggested in reply #1 above? It may have better driver support for your hardware. Mark: I download the ISO file and write to cd, but unfortunately, when i start the computer with this cd i can read the following message. 'Error E000101F4 Disk Director Suite has not found any harddisk drives' Is there a ISO file available for Acrois True Image 11 home? This is more important because, i can use Acronis Disk director in Windows XP but i can not replace a imagefile when windows crash or virus or something else happen. In that case i need a working bootmedia cd to start the program. I hope that the licensing cost issues will be solved soon beceause Acrois True Image 11 home and ADDS 10 are one of the best programs for recover and partitioning programs available and i recommend this programs to everybody i know. Hello Mike, Thank you for using I am sending the links to you via PMs. If Acronis True Image 11 Rescue Media fails to detect the hard drives, you can upgrade the license to the latest version, to Acronis True Image Home 2010. I may recommend you to install a in order to make sure that the program runs flawless for you. Create Acronis Bootable Rescue Media and see if the issue remains. If you would like to purchase the Upgrade to Acronis True Image Home 2010, please visit out. If Acronis Disk Director Rescue Media fails to detect the hard drives, we can give the issue a closer investigation. We can escalate the issue to our Linux developers, they will add the necessary drivers. Please let me know the results. I am using Acronis True Image Echo (build 8039) from beta testing and the Boot CD from that. It seems to me that the current True Image versions would allow a user to create a boot CD that would contain both a 'Safe Version' and Full selection. I found that the 'Safe Version' from the boot cd would let me use the USB mouse and keyboard on my new Dell Optiplex 960.
